Yup!!! Water!!!!

It’s one of nature’s most precious products, the best of all and we cannot live without it. Nevertheless we all waste it like it’s worthless.

If you really wanna keep a good health you should drink lots of it.

It cleanses.

It flushes out the toxins in your body.

It keeps your body cool in the hot Summer days. Actually, when you have fever  it helps to keep the temperature down too.

It keeps your thirst at bay.

You can swim in it or take a bath with it.

Preserve it please.

We (me and my gang) drink lots of water everyday.

You should drink half of your body weight in ounces.

Too much water can result in abnormal low blood sodium levels.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt per quart of water – every 4-5 glasses of water. *Warning! At the same time you must not overdo on salt. Always make sure you drink enough water to wash out the excess of salt.

I myself drink 2 glasses of water before breakfast, just to start my day and then during the rest of the day a few more glasses to keep me going.

Of course you should keep a bathroom in sight because you will make quite a few trips to it during the day. :-)

shampoo bottle

Here is a recipe for a nice harmful chemical free – (like: Sodium Laureate Sulfate or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and others alike – Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is a skin and eye irritant and can cause dermatitis with prolonged contact) -  organic and easy to make shampoo.

We’ve been using it for the last 2.5  years since I’ve put it together and everybody in the family seems to like it.

Recipe:

Empty bottle (1)

Castile Soap

Olive Oil

Coconut Oil

Honey

Tea Tree Oil

Wild Oregano Oil

Lavender Essential Oil

Water

Basically all measurements are according to the size of the bottle that you provide and more or less to your likes (you can be creative and change the ingredients too, however be careful with Essential Oils )

Pour ingredients inside the empty bottle 1/2 to 3/4 of Castile Soap, add a 1 or 2 spoons of Olive Oil, 1 spoon of Coconut Oil, 1 spoon of Honey, a few drops of Tea Tree Oil, a few drops of Wild Oregano Oil, a few drops of Lavender Essential Oil fill up the rest with Water and mix everything by shaking the bottle and there you have it ready to use.

We’ve made a baby version for our newborn baby without the tea tree oil, the Wild Oregano Oil and the lavender essential oil.

It’s not a fancy bottle of  Shampoo like the ones you buy from the store but does the job very well without the risk of contracting allergies or leaving residue in your scalp or even destroying your hair.

Note: If you want some thickness on the final product do not add too much water or you can just skip the water part. You should shake the bottle before using it.

Give it a try!

It can be used as Shampoo, Body Wash or Hand soap.

This is a secret  recipe used by the ancient Estonians 5000 years ago. ( just kidding)  :-)

But it really works and is another way to get rid of a cough:

One cup of hot milk (since cow milk seems to be the major cause of arthritis you can substitute cow milk or goat milk for rice milk, soy milk or any other non animal milk)

add half of a tea spoon of baking soda, stir it and drink it  2 to 3 times a day until you get better.

Of course add some honey to get it sweet.
